Sessions are designed to be:

• Age-appropriate

• Carefully structured

• Safe and supportive

All activities encourage children to explore movement through play, within a controlled and considered environment.

• All children must be accompanied by a parent or carer

• Parents/carers are responsible for supervising their child at all times

• Children must not be left unattended during the session

The class lead is there to guide the session and support the environment, but does not provide one-to-one supervision.

• All equipment is checked prior to each session

• Set-ups are designed to minimise risk while allowing freedom to explore

• The space is fully padded, including floors and walls

• Any unsafe or damaged equipment will be removed immediately

• Children should use equipment in a safe and appropriate manner

• Parents/carers should encourage turn-taking and safe movement

• Running, pushing or unsafe behaviour should be discouraged

• Extra care should be taken on climbing and jumping equipment

• Children should wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement

• Bare feet 

• No food is permitted during the session

• Drinks should be kept to the side and accessed when needed

• Parents/carers must inform Little Movers of any relevant medical conditions, injuries or additional needs

• Children who are unwell should not attend

• Any accidents or incidents will be recorded and shared with the parent/carer

• Parents/carers must accompany their child to the toilet

• Toilet facilities are located just outside the session space

• A basic first aid kit will be available at all sessions

• In the event of an accident, appropriate action will be taken

• Emergency services will be contacted if required

• Photography and recording are permitted during sessions but only of your own child

• Parents must ensure no other children are included in photos unless consent has been given by the parent/carer the child is attending with. 

• Little Movers reserves the right to adjust activities, equipment or session structure where necessary to maintain a safe environment.
